Over 2003-2004 I collaborated with artist Robin Kirsten on HÔTEL BELLVILLE, a project space, gallery, residency, shop and performance venue in Waterloo, London. Located on Lower Marsh, a daily market street just south of the Thames and yards from Waterloo train station, HÔTEL BELLVILLE welcomed a huge diversity of art practice from emerging practitioners and presented it to a mainly local London audience.
Highlights of the programme included an ongoing exchange of ideas and exhibitions with Austellingsraum Taubenstrasse 13 in Hamburg; the Familienfest dinner party; the Straight-to-Video film events and Australian artists Chris Fox and Kyle Jenkins first shows in London.
